Baptism
“Then Jesus approached [the disciples] and said to them, ‘All power in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit’” (Matthew 28:18-19).
St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church joyfully welcomes your family for the preparation and celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism. By baptizing your child, you are initiating him or her into the Body of Christ.
You are also accepting the responsibility of training your child in the lifelong practice of the Catholic faith. The Godparents you select are to be prepared to help you in your duty as Christian parents and to be trustworthy witnesses and examples in the faith for your child.
Are you seeking to have your child baptized? Please fill out the form below, and we will contact you as soon as possible. Or, if you'd rather speak to someone directly, please visit or call the Church Office (985-643-6124) to complete the baptismal paperwork and begin the process of having your child baptized.
