The Ochsner Hospital system put out an updated visitor policy on Monday, December 27, 2021, which again restricts the number and type of visitors to hospitals and partners in their system.  That includes SMH, which is a partner in the Ochsner system.  This continues to prevent our ministry from visiting SMH and having contact with the patients.

As COVID again raises the numbers of infected, hospitalized and ICU patients, we should continue to pray, by attendance at Mass, saying the Rosary, or other forms of spiritual support, for all patients and staff members at Slidell Memorial Hospital (SMH). The support staff includes not only doctors and nurses, but the various technicians, janitorial, supply and cafeteria staff.
